DYOR
One of the main principles that any Bitcoiner should live by is that of DYOR. DYOR means “Do Your Own Research”, which is pretty self-explanatory.
A lot of noobs will end up getting wrecked by jumping in to a shitcoin or FOMOing in to buy Bitcoin at ATH without doing any research whatsoever. This is not a good strategy and will lead to a bitter resentment towards Bitcoin when actually, just by spending a little bit of time doing your own research could have saved a lot of pain!
Only once you have done your own research and have confidence in your knowledge should you start to buy Bitcoin, until then, continue with DYOR, ask questions, absorb a variety of educational content from different sources and you’ll be alright kiddo!
