Shill
Home » Bitcoin Culture » BTC Glossary » Shill
A “shill” is a snake oil salesman that tries to con you in to buying their shitcoin by promoting it’s “potentially massive gains” relentlessly.
There is of course no chance of this happening and all you do if you buy the token they are conning you with is make them richer and now you’re left with the bag.
This leads to a never ending spiral as you then end up being the shill as you try to offload your shitcoin on to someone else whilst the original perpetrator has long disappeared in to the night.
When all you do is focus on Bitcoin, not “crypto” then you will spot a shill a mile off and not fall in to their conning ways.
