Coinbase Pro

Coinbase Pro is the more advanced version of Coinbase where the simple-to-use interace is replaced with a full on exchange. If you’re just getting started then the regular Coinbase account is recommended but if you’re familiar with setting buy orders then it’s worth using Coinbase Pro.

The good news is once you have set up your Coinbase account, you automatically get a Coinbase Pro account so there’s no additional steps, you just need to log-in on the Pro website here.

The fees are drastically reduced on Coinbase Pro as you are doing the buying yourself so this is an option worth looking at if you are used to how exchanges work. Fees for withdrawal to cold storage are also lower compared to Coinbase – full information on the Coinbase Pro fees can be found here.
