BTC

BTC is the “ticker” that is used to represent Bitcoin’s price when you see it on exchanges. Usually BTC is displayed with another fiat or shitcoin trading pair such as BTC/GBP.
The acronym BTC actually stands for “Bitcoin Core” which is what we refer to here at TBM and should not be confused with the other shitcoin hard forks of Bitcoin (e.g. Bitcoin Cash BCH, Bitcoin Satoshis Vision BSV etc.).
“BTC” is often used as short hand for Bitcoin on Twitter but normal folks like us use it interchangeably when talking about Bitcoin Core, which is what this website is all about!
