If you’ve seen some strange looking posts circulating on social media like Twitter or Reddit starting in October 2021 regarding Bitcoin and banana bread, you’ve probably left scratching your head.
The trend began after complaints about Bitcoin’s toxicity, and plebs took to social media to give Bitcoin a more appetising approach that would be palatable for those complaining about Bitcoiner behaviour.
Instead of mentioning Bitcoin, plebs would substitute their comments for Banana bread instead. They were adding clever puns and leveraging Bitcoins attributes.Â
