Apeing
Home » Bitcoin Culture » BTC Glossary » Apeing
Apeing in when it comes to bitcoin refers to buying a more significant amount than usual due to your confidence or bullish feelings regarding current market conditions.
However, the term has been co-opted by the wider cryptocurrency community, and in this context, it refers to skipping due diligence and common sense investing. Apeing, in this case, would refer to someone who buys a token shortly after the token project, NFT or DEFI project launch without conducting thorough research.
Apeing can also refer to seeing the price of bitcoin or a shitcoin moving up in price considerably without any concrete reason but sheer speculation.
“So many people are apeing in.”
🦍 Apes are playing games in the market today.
